Window spacer is the main component in the construction of the modern double-glazed windows which is responsible for the rigidity of the product and its ability to withstand various types of loads.

The window spacer is the welded aluminum profile with two rows of perforation.

These types of profiles are divided according to the type of profiles – for cutting and bending. The difference is in the wall thickness, which corresponds to:

• rigid – 0.25 mm
• flexible – 0.35 mm
• “Leader” – 0.2 mm

Window spacers perform important functions in the glass pack:

• providing a certain distance between the panes;
• primary frame of glass pack;
• as a container for air desiccant pellets between the panes.

The assembly of glass pack is fulfilled with the help of special plastic angles for rigid profiles and steel connectors for flexible profiles. Design of our connectors is developed exclusively for our window spacers by Kronenberg company. We use only original Kronenberg connectors. They may be ordered separately from our warehouse.

The advantages of window spacers are obvious:

• high degree of stability to the influence of ultraviolet rays;
• endurability of temperature drops over a sufficiently wide range;
• safety for human health;
• excellent susceptibility to processing with any sealing means;
• long service life.

OOO “ANKOR” produces welded aluminum window spacers with widths 5.5 mm, 7.5 mm, 8.5 mm, 9.5 mm, 11.5 mm, 13.5 mm, 14.5 mm, 15.5 mm, 17.5 mm, 19.5 mm, 21.5 mm, 23.5 mm and lengths of 5 m and 6 m.
